The Lion and The Mouse

Once there was a beautiful forest. In that forest there lived a mouse near a lion's den. The mouse was very naughty and likes to play all the time. On a hot day when most of the animals are resting, the was still playing. During his play he went to the lion's den, the lion was sleeping.

Without knowing the power of lion, the little mouse started to play over him. Mouse was so naughty that he started jumping and running from Lion's nose to his tail. This running and jumping of mouse awakened the lion from his sleep. Lion got up angrily and began to roar loudly. Then he caught the mouse and threatened him that he would eat him.

Mouse started shivering and said sorry to lion and pleaded the lion to leave him without eating. But the lion didn't agreed. Then mouse again said sorry and also said that, "If you would spare my life, I would be sure to repay your kindness". The lion laughed at him and said "you tiny mouse you would repay me " huh. Then finally the lion's mood changed and he allowed the mouse to go with a warning that this will never happen again.

Few days later, a hunter came to the forest and put a snare to trap the lion. Sadly, The lion felled in the hunter's trap. Lion tried hard to get out of the snare but more he tries, the more he get entangled in the net ropes. Then the lion started roaring for help.

The mouse recognized the lions voice and came to help him. He felt bad for lion, but that was not the time to get worried because the hunter can come anytime. So without wasting any time mouse started to cut the ropes. And in a quick time he cut the entire net into pieces and freed the lion. The lion became very happy and felt sorry for that day. Then the lion thanked the mouse for his help and they became good friends.
